Forestil dig igen at du st\u00e5r med sensoren og ryster den op og ned med pr\u00e6cis samme kraft, hastighed og afstand, Vi f\u00e5r derved et sinussignal, dette sinussignal har en frekvens alt efter hvor mange gang sensoren rystes op og ned p\u00e5 et sekund.
