Magnets and mounting
We have a wide selection of powerful magnets for flat and curved surfaces. We have various pieces that can be mounted with our 2-component adhesive.
As a general rule, we always recommend installing fixed measuring pieces so that measurements are taken in the same place every time.
Flat magnet
Good frequency response up to 10 kHz
The flat magnet is screwed onto the vibration sensor so that the sensor can be attached to the machine to be measured. The flat magnet must be attached to a smooth and clean surface. Therefore, the surface must be cleaned if there is no target/fixed measuring point mounted on the machine.
Curved magnet
Good frequency response up to 2 kHz
Here too, the magnet is placed on the sensor so that contact can be made with the machine being measured. This magnet has a poorer frequency response than the flat magnet, which has better contact with the entire surface. The advantage of the curved magnet is that it can be placed on curved surfaces.
Measuring cups and targets
We also offer various measuring studs and targets so that measurements are taken at the same location every time if you use ROUTE data, where you go out and take measurements a few times a year. These are available in many different variants, with and without grooves and in different thicknesses.
The target shown in the picture is mounted on the machine using our two-component adhesive.
