The Binsfeld Sea Trial Kit is a complete measuring system for measuring torque, RPM and shaft power on ships during test sailing.
The system is installed directly on the propeller shaft using strain gauges and wireless telemetry, which makes it possible to take measurements without interfering with the powertrain.
The high sampling rate makes it possible to detect Dynamic torque variations and torsional oscillations, which makes the system suitable for torsional vibration analysis on marine propulsion systems.
All components are delivered in a robust transport case, making the system easy to install and move between projects.

DAQ10K analysis software
The Sea Trial Kit can be used with DAQ10K data acquisition software, developed for Binsfeld TorqueTrak systems.
The software allows you to:
- Real-time visualisation of torque measurements
- data logging under test
- Automatic calculation of shaft power
- Exporting data to CSV or Excel
DAQ10K runs on a standard Windows computer and connects to the system via USB.
Transportable system
All system components are integrated into a robust transport case with wheels, making the system ideal for mobile measurement tasks and sea trials.
The case contains telemetry, data acquisition system and necessary accessories for installation.
