Vibration measurement on wind turbines
Reliability is extremely important when it comes to rotating machines. If a wind turbine stops, it stops generating electricity and therefore earns no money. Not all wind turbines are easily accessible, and performing maintenance is therefore associated with high costs.

- Main bearings
- Foundation
Most wind turbines today have integrated vibration measurement as part of the turbine maintenance system, but what happens when a company has to take on maintenance of older turbines, or perhaps purchase older turbines?
In this connection, it is a good idea to have vibration measurements carried out by a third party in order to check the condition of the components before taking over the turbines.
