Vibration measurement
Vibration measurement and vibration monitoring during construction and civil engineering works.
Control vibrations during construction and civil engineering works
Vibrations from construction and civil engineering work can be a nuisance to neighbours and damage neighbouring buildings. If buildings are exposed to high vibrations, damage to masonry and foundations may occur.
In connection with sewerage, construction and driving large machinery, it is advantageous to ensure that vibrations do not exceed levels in accordance with certain standards and norms:
There are several different standards, the most commonly used being DIN 4150 Part 3: Effects on structures, February 1999.
Online vibration measurement with alarm, email and text message notification
At TME Solutions ApS, we can set up remote vibration measurement to monitor noise and vibrations. The sensor is easily mounted on the base or masonry and monitors vibrations 24/7/365 while work is in progress. If the values are exceeded, an email and text message are automatically sent to us or you. In addition, a light will illuminate so that on-site personnel can see that there have been high vibrations and have the opportunity to stop in time.
Let us give you a quote so that you can keep track of the vibrations and document them.
How we do it
As a starting point, our standard solution is that our technician comes and installs the box and connects it. (in order to avoid any doubts later on, it is best to have the placement and installation carried out by an expert). We will then invoice you weekly for the rental of the equipment.
When the construction or civil engineering work is complete, we dismantle the equipment and prepare a simple measurement report for you as a guarantee that no harmful vibrations have occurred during the construction process.
