Exit on the side or at the top
Depending on how much space is available on the machine, it is a good idea to consider whether your accelerometer should have an exit on the side or at the top. Often, a SIDE exit accelerometer can be advantageous when a sensor is attached to measure axial vibrations, as there is often not much space here due to screens for rotating parts, etc.
TOP exit: Here, the outlet for the plug is fitted at the top.
SIDE exit: Here is the output to the connector on the side of the connector. This accelerometer is therefore not as high when mounted.
Calibration and sensitivity
All our accelerometers come with a calibration certificate. We recommend that they be calibrated annually, which can be done by simply sending them to us.
When ordering a sensor, you need to consider the frequency range you want to measure, whether it is low-frequency or high-frequency measurements. And whether you want to measure a lot or a little vibration. All of this affects the sensitivity of the sensor and thus the output, which is mV/g.

4-20 mA sensor and capsules for machine builders
We also have sensors with 4-20 mA for direct use with PLCs. In addition, we have sensors in capsule form, which are compact and can be built into your own sensor or casing.
