Vibration sensor (accelerometer)
An accelerometer is the most commonly used sensor for measuring vibrations. The accelerometer measures the transmission of vibrations from rotating machines and components.
The vibrations are measured in acceleration (g), hence the name accelerometer. We also have accelerometers for measuring in three axes.
Our range of accelerometers is made for industrial use in stainless steel, making them extremely resistant to heat/cold, water and other environmental influences, including ATEX areas.
Magnets and mounting
To secure the accelerometer in place, you can either screw it onto the machine or use a magnet to temporarily mount the sensor if you are walking around with handheld equipment. That is why we offer a range of different magnets, each with their own properties.
